Program Overview

Link is partnering with Mulberry, a trusted provider of product and shopping protection, to provide Link consumers with free protection plans so you can shop confidently. Once an eligible transaction is completed with Link, your protection plan is active and ready to go whenever you may need it.

You can view your coverage details, access customer support, and initiate a claim all from your Mulberry customer dashboard at any time. To access your dashboard, please activate your account by creating a password via the link in your Welcome email - this email should have been sent to you shortly after you completed your first eligible Link transaction. Several or all of the products in your transaction may be eligible for protection.

Coverage Details

No-Fee Return Protection:

  • Coverage Summary: Reimburses costs related to eligible product returns to merchants, such as shipping and restocking fees
  • Duration: Coterminous with respective retailers' return policy, maximum of 90 days from the date of purchase
  • Maximum Covered Transaction Value: $1,000
  • Maximum Payout Per Covered Transaction: Total costs related to returns, such as shipping and restocking fees, up to $250 or the covered product price, whichever is less
  • Maximum Number of Claims Per Product: 1 claim
  • Benefit Fulfillment: Fulfilled when limit of liability has been reached and/or term has expired
  • Eligible Products: All consumer goods with the exception of the below excluded products
  • Excluded Products: food/drinks, cars and car parts, tires and wheels, bikes/ebikes, scooters/skateboards, medication, animals, plants, travel costs, event tickets, commercial products

  • Examples of Covered Scenarios:
    • You purchase an item, then decide to return it within the merchant’s relevant return policy. Upon doing the return, you incur additional fees like shipping to send the item back and/or a restocking fee charged by the merchant.
  • Example of Excluded Scenarios:
    • You purchase a product, keep it for 60 days, but the merchant’s return policy is only 30 days after purchase - this is no longer covered under the merchant’s return policy, and therefore fees cannot be reimbursed.
    • You purchase a product, and decide to exchange it for a different size and incur a shipping fee to return the original item - this is not covered as it is not a return but rather an exchange.

Mulberry Claims Process

Summary:

You can initiate a claim via your Mulberry customer dashboard within 30 days of a covered incident. You will be prompted to fill out a short form to file your claim. Please be sure to have all the below information and content ready so you can file a complete claim to reduce back and forth with our support team and expedite your claim processing time. Once your claim has been filed, the in-house US-based Mulberry support team will confirm the receipt of your claim and will be in contact shortly via email for next steps.

No-Fee Return Protection Claim:

  • Transaction the claim corresponds to (merchant name, date of purchase, total transaction amount)
  • Product the claim pertains to (name and price)
  • Proof of purchase of the product (must show the merchant name, product name and price, and purchase date)
  • Description of the fees incurred in doing the return
  • Date the return was initiated
  • Total of the fees incurred in doing the return
  • Image of the receipt(s) of the fees incurred in doing the return

Generally speaking, almost all consumer goods, both durable and consumable in nature, are covered, with a few exclusions including food/drinks, cars and car parts, tires and wheels, bikes/ebikes, scooters/skateboards, medication, animals, plants, travel costs, event tickets, and commercial products.
