Did you know you can protect these products?

Many people associate product protection plans and extended warranties with high-ticket items like appliances, electronics and furniture. But did you know you can also protect lower-priced items that are likely to see wear and tear, or lots of use? Think backpacks, desk organizers, headphones, reusable water bottles – you can protect these types of products for nominal fees (or free if you’re using the Mulberry extension!). Check out some of these common items you may not have realized qualified for product protection:

Backpacks

These guys see lots of wear and tear, especially when kids are tossing them around with heavy books in them or trying to cram them into small spaces. Protect your dollars spent on backpacks so you don’t have to repurchase more than once a year; or with extended protection, you may save yourself a few years of backpack purchases! Amazon has a great selection for every age, including this multi-purpose backpack with a built-in laptop sleeve and dual water bottle pockets.

Water Bottles

Speaking of water bottles, a quality stainless steel reusable bottle is almost a necessity anymore, especially for environmentally conscious consumers. You can reduce your carbon footprint significantly, minimizing waste to help limit the plastic pollution crisis. You’ll reap the personal health benefits of avoiding harmful chemicals from plastic and stay hydrated while drinking better quality water. You’ll also put money back in your pocket by avoiding the repeated cost of purchasing disposable plastic water bottles. Check out this sleek stainless bottle from Cotopaxi, a company committed to sustainability at every stage of production.

Desk organizers

Desk organizers can get pricey with all their compartments, drawers and add-ons. They’re prone to bending and snapping, so why not pick up a protection plan just in case they suffer accidental damage? This organizer comes in multiple colors with dividers and a large, compartmentalized drawer.

Headphones

Did you know that earbuds (or an earbud) are the most common thing lost down a subway grate or drain? With a product protection plan, you can cover the replacement of a lost earbud. Or a damaged cord, cracked earphone, you name it. These earbuds with active noise cancellation serve multiple purposes, even if you just want to pretend you’re listening to music to avoid conversation.
