Wheels PROTECTION
Wheel protection when the road gets rough.
A damaged wheel can affect more than how your car looks. Mulberry wheel protection can help with covered road hazard damage that leaves an eligible wheel unable to perform as it should.
Coverage varies by product and plan.
Before you need it
Know your coverage.
Start by checking that your plan includes the affected wheel. Wheel and tire protection can be separate, and cosmetic-only damage may not qualify.

When things don’t go to plan.
Here are some of the issues a plan may help with. Check your own coverage for the details.
Damage from road hazards
Potholes and road debris can cause structural damage to a wheel. When the cause and damage meet your plan’s requirements, repair or replacement may be available.
Cracks and unsafe bends
A covered impact can leave a wheel cracked or bent beyond safe tolerances. Your plan may provide a replacement when a covered wheel cannot be safely repaired.
Damage that affects the tire seal
Some wheel damage prevents a tire from maintaining an airtight seal. Qualifying damage may be covered when it results from a road hazard included in your plan.
Coverage applies to eligible wheels listed on your plan. Cosmetic damage alone may be excluded. Your contract sets the covered hazards, repair or replacement requirements and limits.
Good to know
A few common questions.
Does wheel protection cover cosmetic scuffs?
Cosmetic scuffs may be excluded. Road hazard coverage focuses on qualifying damage that affects the wheel’s function. Check your plan before arranging refinishing or repair.
Does wheel coverage also protect my tires?
Not automatically. Check your plan documents to see whether you have wheel protection, tire protection or both. Each applies to the products listed on the plan.
How do I get help with a damaged wheel?
Log in to your Mulberry dashboard and start a claim. Describe the incident and share photos when requested. Our claims team will review your coverage and explain how to proceed.
Does a wheel warranty cover damage from potholes?
A manufacturer’s warranty may focus on defects rather than damage from driving. A road hazard plan can cover qualifying wheel damage from potholes or debris. Coverage depends on the cause, the wheel’s condition and the products listed on your plan.
