Why do I need to add "The Easy Protection Plan"?

While Roses offers standard manufacturer warranties, these warranties typically don't last 5 years, and they can't cover incidents like kid or pet damage, stains, or burns. The Easy Protection Plan covers all this and more, for a fraction of what it would cost to buy a new item.

When does coverage begin?

Your protection plan begins as soon as you complete your purchase! You have coverage against accidental damage the moment you leave the store.

How do I file a claim?

You can file a claim easily online through your account at getmulberry.com. Log in here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Are there any hidden fees or deductibles?

There are no deductibles or hidden fees when you file a claim with Mulberry. All approved claim costs like product replacement, labor costs and shipping are covered.

Is there a limit to how many times I can file a claim?

There is no limit to the number of claims you can file. You can use your Mulberry plan to file multiple, separate claims for your covered product, up to the limit of liability (the original retail value of your product), minus any claims costs already incurred and paid on your plan.

Your plan includes coverage for a single incident per claim, so please make sure to file a claim as soon as a covered incident occurs! Once your product has been replaced (or cash settled) by Mulberry, your coverage terms will be fulfilled and no more claims can be filed against that plan.

Can I add a Mulberry protection plan after I purchase an item?

Yes! You can add a Mulberry protection plan to your purchase up to 60 days after your initial purchase. Please contact the Mulberry team at help@getmulberry.com if you have questions or need assistance.

 

Can I purchase a Mulberry protection plan for someone else?

Yes! You can purchase MulberryCare for someone else - please reach out to our support team at help@getmulberry.com for assistance purchasing or transferring a plan.

 

How long do I have to report a claim?

You have 30 days from the day you discover the damage to report a claim.

What is not covered by the Easy Protection Plan?

Below are examples of damages that are not covered by the Easy Protection Plan.

For indoor furniture, this plan does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from vandalism, fire, theft, or misuse
  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
  • Accumulated or progressive damage
  • All pre-existing stains or damage occurring prior to purchase of a Mulberry protection plan
  • Stains or damage covered under any maintenance plan, manufacturer's warranty, extended warranty, homeowner's or renter's or other insurance policy or other protection plan
  • Stains or damage caused by water leaks, including those from skylights, roofs or water pipes. 

For mattresses, this plan does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from vandalism, fire, theft, or misuse
  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
  • Accumulated or progressive damage
  • All pre-existing stains or damage occurring prior to purchase of a Mulberry protection plan
  • Stains or damage covered under any maintenance plan, manufacturer's warranty, extended warranty, homeowner's or renter's or other insurance policy or other protection plan
  • Stains or damage caused by water leaks, including those from skylights, roofs or water pipes. 

For speakers and electronics, this plan does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from vandalism, fire, theft, or misuse
  • Non-operating, cosmetic or external part, e.g. protective glass; housings; insulation; conduit; frames; cabinets; knobs; dials; drawers; handles; shelves; doors; hinges; light bulbs; projection bulbs; filters; hoses
  • Any installed accessory item, e.g. gas or electric connectors
  • Any antennae or antenna system; any expansion of the channel or frequency range capabilities of the product; circuit adjustments required to receive any particular station; service or adjustments due to changes in external power supply; power connectors and connections; reception or normal signal
  • Outdoor conversion kits not specifically sold with the product and recommended by the manufacturer
  • Use inconsistent with published user, operator or installation instructions
  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
  • "No problem found" diagnosis, intermittent and non-intermittent issues that are not failures of the product
  • Any failure caused by neglecting routine maintenance or cleaning required by the manufacturer
  • External causes of any kind, including third party actions; fire; theft; insects; animals; exposure to weather; windstorm; sand; dirt; hail; earthquake; flood; water; fortuitous events, acts of God or consequential loss of any nature.

For kitchen appliances, this plan does not cover:

  • Non-operating, cosmetic or external part, e.g. protective glass; housings; insulation; conduit; frames; cabinets; knobs; dials; drawers; handles; shelves; doors; hinges; light bulbs; projection bulbs; filters; hoses
  • Any installed accessory item, e.g. gas or electric connectors
  • Use inconsistent with published user, operator or installation instructions
  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
  • "No problem found" diagnosis, intermittent and non-intermittent issues that are not failures of the product
  • Any failure caused by neglecting routine maintenance or cleaning required by the manufacturer
  • External causes of any kind, including third party actions; fire; theft; insects; animals; exposure to weather; windstorm; sand; dirt; hail; earthquake; flood; water; fortuitous events, acts of God or consequential loss of any nature.

For outdoor furniture, this plan does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from vandalism, fire, theft, or misuse
  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear
  • Damage, deterioration, discoloration, corrosion, fading, mold, mildew, rust or other changes arising from weather, moisture, sunlight, temperature fluctuation, or any prolonged environmental exposure
  • Accumulated or progressive damage
  • All pre-existing stains or damage occurring prior to purchase of a Mulberry protection plan
  • Stains or damage covered under any maintenance plan, manufacturer's warranty, extended warranty, homeowner's or renter's or other insurance policy or other protection plan
  • Appliance malfunctions, including but not limited to air conditioners and hot water heaters;
  • Fire, smoke, flood, other natural disaster, or act of God, which are typically covered under a home insurance plan.

For rugs, this plan does not cover:

  • Damage from pets, unless the pet damage add-on is purchased;
  • Burns and heat marks longer than one inch in length;
  • Stains caused by delivery of the product;
  • Stains of unknown origin;
  • Stains as a result of acid, bleach, body oils, caustic solutions, dyes, nail polish remover, nail polish, paint, suntan oils, ballpoint ink, cosmetics and wax;
  • Fabric and/or leather which has become faded, worn or soiled over time from normal everyday use or sun exposure; natural characteristics that cause appearance variations; x-coded fabrics; non-colorfast materials;
  • Rugs located in screened rooms where the rug may be directly or indirectly exposed to the elements.
