When things don’t go to plan.
Here are some of the issues a plan may help with. Check your own coverage for the details.
Punctures from road debris
Damage caused by nails, screws, glass or other covered debris may qualify for a repair or replacement, depending on the tire’s condition and your plan.
Pothole damage
A covered road hazard can damage a tire beyond a simple puncture. Your plan may include eligible damage caused by potholes and poor road conditions.
Help when a tire can’t be repaired
If covered damage makes a tire unsafe to repair, replacement may be available under your plan. Coverage limits and tire-condition requirements still apply.
Coverage applies to eligible tires listed on your plan. Tread-depth requirements, coverage periods, limits and exclusions vary by program. Check your plan before arranging service.
Good to know
A few common questions.
Does this cover worn-out tires?
Road hazard protection is different from replacing tires as they wear down. Check your plan’s tread-depth requirements and exclusions for normal wear, maintenance and alignment-related damage.
Are wheels included with tire protection?
Tire and wheel protection are distinct. Check your plan documents to see which products you purchased coverage for. You can explore wheel protection separately below.
What should I do if a tire is damaged?
Start a claim from your Mulberry dashboard and describe what happened. Our team will explain the next steps for your plan. Keep your purchase information and photos of the damage available for review.
How is road hazard protection different from a tire warranty?
A manufacturer’s tire warranty may address defects or tread life. Road hazard protection addresses qualifying damage from hazards such as nails or potholes. Check both documents: covered causes, tire condition requirements and claim limits can differ.
